Located in historic Fire Station No. 4, "Dolores but you can call me Lolita" is an exciting restaurant to visit in Miami. In October 2007, the current "Dolores but you can call me Lolita" restaurant was established by the Passion Restaurant Group. It has two stories with unique balconies and a patio. The interior is beautifully adorned throughout with a number of places for an intimate rendezvous. This is an excellent location for a romantic first date or to celebrate an anniversary.
Upon entering the restaurant, you will be amazed at the elegance displayed and the dreamy atmosphere with dimmed lights and candles. Soft music plays in the background while you are immediately escorted to a table and presented a menu. A server quickly appears to take your order, which is promptly served. Quality food served at the restaurant includes things such as Eggplant Timbales, Serrano Ham Croquettes, Pan Seared Tuna with Bok Choy and a vast array of other delicious dishes. An appetizer is served with each meal at no charge. It is also possible to obtain American dishes such as Chicken and Waffles, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and so forth.
The restaurant has an excellent full bar area. Thursday Nights Happy Hour is especially popular. Fifty percent is taken off appetizers and some drinks are a dollar. A small dance floor, complete with DJ, allows one to dance to Latino music and EDM.
