Val+Tino Vanandtino is a newly opened Italian restaurant located in Fort Lauderdale, helmed by Executive Chef Jake Abbott. This contemporary dining spot, which is a reimagining of the previously renowned Valentino Cucina Italiana, offers a menu inspired by Italian and Mediterranean flavors. With an emphasis on simple, identifiable, and high-quality ingredients, the restaurant aims to provide a unique culinary experience during each visit.
Situated at 620 S Federal Highway, the venue has been redesigned with a fresh Art Deco aesthetic and a vibrant color palette, featuring seating for about 110 guests. The space now includes a more intimate setting for Val+Tino and a dedicated bar area, enhancing the dining ambiance.
The menu at Val+Tino is carefully curated to highlight seasonal ingredients and features an array of dishes including cavatelli osso buco, butternut squash tortelli, and tagliatelle bolognese. Noteworthy appetizers include Iberico paleta with gnocco fritto and Royal Osetra caviar, while entrees range from dry-aged New York strip to lane snapper with artichokes. The restaurant also offers a five-course tasting menu that showcases different dishes with each season, paired with an extensive wine list managed by veteran sommelier Stefan Cole.
