In the year 1919, nestled on a scenic street at the heart of Berlin, Moshe Landwer inaugurated a quaint, charming coffee shop. It swiftly became a beloved gathering place among the locals. By 1933, amid the ascent of the Nazi regime, Moshe and his family emigrated to Tel Aviv, where he established the first coffee roastery of the nation on Allenby Street, with views stretching to the sea.
In 1964, responding to a growing demand for fine coffee, the Landwer factory relocated to a new, permanent facility in the industrial sector of Holon.
Fast forward to 2004, three entrepreneurs who recognized the potential in Landwer's storied brand proposed a rejuvenation of the legacy. They launched the first Café Landwer in Rabin Square, Tel Aviv, quickly becoming a community staple. By 2019, Café Landwer had evolved into a popular restaurant chain and franchise boasting 80 outlets throughout Israel, all designed with a focus on creating a cozy, stylish setting that invites and entertains visitors.
In 2018, Co-Founder Nir Caspi ventured to the United States, driven by a vision to transform the brand into a fast-casual dining venue, aiming to unite diverse peoples through the joy of culinary delights and collective experiences.
